Welcome to Wycombe Arts Centre!
We’re a haven for alternative, upcoming and fringe arts, located halfway between London and Oxford in the Chilterns AONB.
WAC is essentially a set of spaces available for community hire with regular events, performances, exhibitions and opportunities for local creatives, young and old!
Our amazing old church setting is on historic, colourful Desborough Road near the town centre, only a 3-4 minute walk from Eden Shopping Centre and the bus station. It provides a much-needed edge to arts activity in this evolving region.
Explore expression, create impressions, have fun and witness magic.
COVID-19 UPDATE
We’re currently open for limited events in-line with government advice government avdice on Covid-19.
Our magnificent church space allows for social distancing for smaller-scale events and while the weather’s nice, we’re also able to open our garden. As you can appreciate, everything’s a bit up on the air at the moment, so please view our events listings to view what’s on.
We’re committed to putting safety first and won’t host any events without an in-depth risk assessment and appropriate measures in place, from one-way systems to indoor mask usage and free masks and hand sanitiser on site.
We’re currently in the process of re-opening and hope to return to our regular programming as soon as it’s safe for our visitors. In the meantime, we’ve relaunched many of our smaller workshops, hosted our Lockdown Art Exhibit and reopened to private hires when appropriate.
As a registered charity and community organisation, we’re doing everything we can to serve the Wycombe District and South Bucks, sharing life and experiences through the arts to help our community through this difficult time. The health of our friends and families is paramount, and we thank everyone for their understanding and consideration during this once-in-a-lifetime pandemic.
If you have further questions about our availability and our COVID-19 policy, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
