Welcome to Wycombe Arts Centre
Formerly Arts4Every1, we are based halfway between London and Oxford, providing a haven for alternative, upcoming and fringe arts within the commuter belt. Essentially a set of spaces for community hire, we are becoming so much more with new team members, better special events, more public access, regular clubs, community projects and such.
Our amazing old church setting is on historic and colourful Desborough Road near the town centre only a 3-4 minute walk from Eden’s House of Fraser, and provides a much-needed and very real edge to arts activities in the evolving Wycombe area.
This website will hopefully show off some of our positive activity! Look around, do something creative.
Our June pop-up exhibition in the old church was a great success.
Showcasing landscape artworks from ‘Around Here, Now & Then’ from the talented Lorna Cassidy, Jan Gaska, Richard Grinter, Steg Read and Daniel Wilson, we introduced over 300 visitors to the work of these local artists.

Art Studio & Creative Workshops
Our spaces are getting a continued overhaul, with a working art studio currently coming together at the back of the cafe space. Workshops are starting in July with Drawing Mandalas and Clay Pottery with Connie Fielder so book early!
Other workshops coming soon: Paint Along Acrylics with Jane Dolgopolova, Can Control with Decreate, Life Painting with Wycombe Life Drawing, and more!
Internationally acclaimed touring performance company Signdance are a force to be reckoned with! Their powerful performances mix dance, music, theatre, art, projections & new media.
Wycombe Arts Centre has been their rehearsal space for some years and is now helping them push the boundaries further. Following the amazing Project Z, they are now working with Formid Ability, an Opera company who are truly breaking down barriers. You could even come and enjoy the rehearsals with us for free. They are indeed “A revelation” and “beautiful to behold”.
Signdance are funded by Arts Council England.
Sunday August 11th is a new event in town, the ‘borough carnival!
We are currently working with HWBIDCo, our neighbours in the area, and many talented artists to brighten up our environment as part of the celebration.
There’s so much positivity down Desborough and we want to help show it off with live music, drumming workshops, and loads more public art like our new amazing Street Piece by Teakster. We will be colouring in more of the road this August so look out!
