EZM & Lady G

One of Originuk.net’s top DJ teams, these two maestros are often seen gracing the decks at big festivals like Moondance. Having graced the decks since the early 90’s their knowledge of Old School and Jungle is to be heard! They have played at back to 95, Promised Land and many other large London events. You are guaranteed a slick mix of favourites from back in the day, with a nice transition from Old School to jungle promised for the night.

Releasing tracks as the mysterious Enki, Luxy has played the likes of the Matrix (reading, 2000 capacity), the O2 Institute Birmingham, the Roundhouse London, and many festivals throughout Europe . Tour manager and DJ for the Engine Earz Experiment, Lux is now pushing forwards with a clutch of new dubplates, ranging from Dubstep and Bassline to Sexy Garage and DnB. His Skills on the turntables are legendary , and we’re lucky to have him on board. If you are a budding MC, his latest track is begging for the right MC.

Since 1996 he’s appeared under many different guises. You can be guaranteed a versatile selection.  Despite being a Drum and Bass fanatic, he mixes everything from Hip hop and Funk to Low down dirty drum and bass. Continually striving to improve, expect a unique style brought on from continuous experimentation. His first ever proper play was in fact at the Bucks University Student Union Club back in 1997. The next was at the Purple Turtle in Reading. He’s also played at free parties on the Panic Soundsystem. He’s smashed numerous nights in London, Brighton, Reading, Basingstoke and Bracknell. No stranger to event organisation and promotion, and now part of the Rabble Defiance Collective. Having presented shows on more than 10 different Radio stations over 15years, he’s supported Jungle Drum and bass since  1993. His love of music drives him on to new projects where he can share that love. Having already built a few speaker cabinets for cars with his friends, he found himself revisiting that desire to build a soundsystem. It’s a long term dream.  Go check some of his mixes and you will get an idea…

Resident DJ on Originuk.net for over 5 years, Insight has come up playing Jungle and Drum and bass but loves to mix up old skool, house and hip hop. He’s DJ’d at nights like Promised Land, Raise It Up and is now running nights as a member of Rabble Defiance. He’s recently headed into production. His love of vinyl sees him often hunting down sought-after titles for a song. When he’s not mixing, you’ll find him making more friends on the dancefloor.

Platinum G

Veteran DJ Platinum G knows how to bust just about every style of dance music. He plays a drive time show every Friday on ReleaseFm  playing a full spectrum of breaks  www.releasefm.net

Platinum was an obvious recruit for Rabbel Defiance, as a versatile DJ, and a great laugh, he’s put in a lot of hard graft !

Check his mixes , you’ll soon hear the tight beatmatching and on point selections that are his trademark.

A key player in the set-up, his technical knowledge has helped push forwards the collective. His love of Dub and Reggae had to be given an outlet, and as a warm up to our first Wycombe night, we’re proud to have him selecting some heavy tracks.

Repow MC

Starting on Rinse FM (Slough) back in the day, some twenty years on, and Repow is still just as enthusiastic about music as he ever was. He’s MCing at Jungle Splash, Subfactory ,Jungle Zen ( Jungle vs Garage), and hosts on Life FM and Studio 808

Comedy MC

He been on the radio scene for time, MCing at the Matrix club in reading, and often alongside Luxy. Having worked on various soundsystems, his infectious good nature can only lift up the crowd.

Last Minute Addition!

Flex MC- Free party MC Flex bumped into us at our last event in Reading. It was quite the reunion, as Flex goes way back with a lot of the crew, since the days of 2HotFM ( 2002-2003!) . He’s eager to join the party, and we’re looking forwards to his support !
