Come and Sing Day: Endings
Saturday 15th October 10am-5pm
As the year turns towards colder weather we invite amateur singers of all ages to join us at the Wycombe Arts Centre to rehearse and perform a varied programme of vocal consort music themed on ‘Endings’. From a piece by Baroque composer Henry Purcell
(sung at the Queen’s funeral at Westminster Abbey) to a comic lark-about by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, singers will explore not just music from different eras but also many different styles of singing – church, spiritual, close harmony, music hall.
The day will be led by Artistic Director Jonathan Darbourne, a highly experienced choral
conductor and arranger, and will include a group of professional singers who will join in
when needed to make sure all involved feel confident.
Any questions or queries, please get in touch with Gabbie via: comms@vachebaroquefestival.com
Tickets are available now in two price bands.
