The monsters are coming!

Do you want to create something wonderful whilst caring for and supporting our planet? Join local crafters and makers for some bank holiday fun for our Monster Day!

Your input in this project will become part of Stevyn Colgan’s Monster Zoo community art project, as seen on Grayson Perry’s Art Club on Channel Four, for local families in Hazelmere/Widmer End.

All you need to do is bring along your empty milk jugs, plastic bottles, cans, tins and boxes. We’ll work together to bring your monsters to life!

This fun-filled day is perfect for the whole family and is jam packed full of different things to do, including:

  • Suitcase Theatre Shows: Pippa vs the Hoomans & Professor Octavia’s Magical Menagerie with Victoria Snaith of Dread Falls Theatre
  • Storytelling and Monster Making Workshops with Stevyn Colgan
  • Live Art with Daniel Wilson (Decreate)
  • Wonky Rocks monster trail
  • Colouring in/activity sheets
  • More!

You’ll also be able to get drinks and snack refreshments throughout the day from our café with table service in the gardens.
