Temptation of the Renaissance

A solo classical guitar recital with music from the Renaissance period and two pieces from the 20th century inspired by the Renaissance.

There will be a special guest artist (Sacha Tomkins, soprano) singing a selection of John Dowland lute songs transcribed for guitar and voice. This beautiful music will transport you back to the time of Queen Elizabeth the first. I am a performer of over 30 years experience and have given solo recitals in the South east including St Mary le Bow in London, the Electric Theatre in Guildford and the Union Chapel in Brighton. My two passions in guitar music are the Renaissance period and Latin American music
