
Wycombe Jazz Festival
Saturday 3rd June, 2:30pm – 11pm.
A collaboration between Catch22, Itchy Silk Creates and Wycombe Arts Centre, with support from Wycombe Sound.
Afternoon session:
- Swansong – community players presenting a selection of swing and Cuban classics
- George Jack – veteran jazz and blues vocalist
- Brant Tilds Trio – Detroit-born trumpeter performing playful Latin grooves with his trio
Evening session:
- MLN Ensemble ft. Joe Penn, Amanda Marie + more – the Catch22Jams house band premieres original compositions by innovative local soloists
- Bucks Youth Jazz Collective – an exciting new group, bringing together the best young improvisers in Buckinghamshire
- Emma Rawicz – multi-award winning young saxophonist and composer, already making waves on the UK music scene. She has been described as “An astonishing new talent” (Jamie Cullum – BBC Radio 2), “a force to be reckoned with” (Jazzwise) and “a fast-rising star” (London Jazz News)
