February 2021 Wrapup: Unveiling Our Online Workshop Programme!

  • Post category:All / News

Hello everyone, and welcome to our February 2021 Wycombe Arts Centre wrapup post!

Despite the fact that we’re still in a national lockdown, we’ve still been keeping ourselves busy and working hard behind the scenes so that we can be in the best possible shape once we re-open. That includes filing funding bids, undertaking inclusivity training and working on a new look and feel for our website.

And so without further ado, let’s take a look at what we’ve been up to.

Wycombe Arts Centre News

We’ve spent most of February working on funding bids, carrying out inclusivity training and working on a new look for our website. As a part of that, we’ve been meeting regularly over Zoom to develop ways that we can be more inclusive with our offering, whether that’s by improving our physical access routes or whether that’s by getting to better understand the unique needs of different visitors. If you have any feedback to share on how we’re doing, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

We’ve also signed ourselves up to BuyMeACoffee.com, where you can make small donations and pick up tickets to some of our paid for online events. We’re also encouraging our artists, musicians and performers to sign up so that when we host free live streams, people can use them as a virtual tip jar.

In other news, our online programming for the spring has launched, with our weekly Roundabout Creative Theatre sessions on Wednesday along with our writing workshop and a creative sign workshop from Peter and Isolte at our company-in-residence, Signdance Collective. Read on to see what events we have coming up!
