PhotoFresh Photography Exhibition

PhotoFresh was an exciting three-day event featuring over a dozen photographers and several photography groups from the local area. They exhibited their personal and commercial work in the stunning Grade 2 listed Old Victorian Church at Wycombe Arts Centre.

The exhibition was a display of dynamic and exciting new work encompassing wildlife, urban, portraiture and much more. There were continuous screenings in our pop-up installation, photographers on hand to discuss their work, and scheduled demonstrations and children’s workshops.

Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to coronavirus and so we duplicated it online instead. We’d planned to open the exhibition on Friday 10th (7pm – 10.30pm),  Saturday 11th (11am – 7pm) and Sunday 12th (11am – 6pm) April 2020.

The grand opening night of the exhibition was due to take place on Friday 10th April and was positioned as an exciting opportunity to speak to the photographers and to learn more about their work.

Acoustic musician Persephone was due to perform live with a fully-licensed bar and refreshments on-site.

On Saturday and Sunday, we’d planned to host fun children’s workshops along with talks and lighting demonstrations. !

A projector installation in our dark room set up! A dramatic large scale viewing of photographs by Amersham Photographic Society and The Bucks College Group, along with many more contributing photographers.

“It was an honour to co-curate this exciting exhibition and to discover the wealth of talent in the region. The variety of photographic themes and styles was of interest to those both familiar and unfamiliar with the art of photography.”
