The Big Art Show 2025: A Truly Incredible Journey

It’s hard to believe The Big Art Show 2025 has come to a close. After months of planning, hundreds of hours of hard work, and an amazing few weeks of exhibition, we’re still buzzing from the experience.

From the moment the doors opened, the energy was electric. Over 700 visitors joined us—artists, musicians, families, friends, and newcomers—all brought together by a shared love of creativity. The exhibition featured a stunning range of visual art, live music, workshops, and those small, joyful moments that make an event memorable: children getting messy with paint, dogs lounging in the garden, iced teas shared between friends.

Our huge thanks go to the incredible artists who exhibited their work: Alfriston School, Lynne D Jones, Louise Morris, Dacarter, Dan R Miller, David Halligan, Decreate, Derek Ogbourne, Wycombe Mind Charity, MonicaMonroe Studio, Tessa Taylor, Raj Kumra, L127, Ruth October, Skyla Pouring Art, Sammy Ward, Jack Dylan Smith, Jacqueline Ford, ArtbyLaurie, Too Few The Poets, and Bowerdean Nursery School.

We were also proud to present Lorna Cassidy’s evocative touring pop-up exhibition Around Town in our café space, which sparked beautiful conversations about Wycombe’s past and present.

None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of our staff and volunteers, who worked long days and late nights to transform the space, build our exhibition system from scratch, and ensure everything ran smoothly. And a heartfelt thanks to the musicians who played at the launch and throughout the event, bringing an unforgettable atmosphere.

Now that all the artists have been paid and the admin wrapped up, we look back with immense pride at what we’ve achieved together. The Big Art Show was more than just an exhibition — it was a celebration of a creative community coming alive.

Thank you to everyone who supported us — your presence, energy, and passion made all the difference.

We look forward to the next chapter, but for now, enjoy the highlights below and keep supporting local art!
