Come and Learn to Sing.
No previous experience singing in choirs or reading music needed!
These sessions will be led by Gabriella Liandu and Jonathan Darbourne. The content will include:
• Finding your voice: physical and vocal warm up exercises
• Learning folks songs and rounds
• Music notation: ‘learning the language’
• Singing from sheet music: how to follow and hold your line
• Improvising vocal melodies
• Practicing for an (optional) informal showcase on Saturday 11 May 2024
£5 per session (includes light refreshments and sheet music to take away)
NB this fee is waived for participants joining us via community partner organisations Wycombe Refugee Partnership, One Can Trust, or Arc Bucks PCN.
