Lord Numb – Exhibition
The Man Who Fell to Earth
Lord Numb is a self-taught artist and musician.
He’s been playing in bands since the age of 14,
but only began painting just over a year ago.
His work draws inspiration from horror films, the
natural world, stone circles, magical places, and
the writings of M. R. James, H. P. Lovecraft, and
Arthur Machen — as well as the darkness and
absurdity of the modern world.
He works with acrylics, pigment liners, felt tips,
and pencils, and occasionally incorporates
unexpected items like Playmobil figures and
straw.
