NOTIZEN – Open Rehearsals & Drop in

Are you a citizen or are you notizen? Are you noticin the city?

Saturday 25th October

SignDance Group & Transmitter Performance in partnership with We Make Wycombe, will run open rehearsals of Notizen at All Saints Church (morning) and Wycombe Arts Centre (afternoon).

This is free to come to and a unique opportunity to:

• have a ‘behind the scenes’ look at a dance-theatre company at work.
• watch and engage first hand with its current repertoire.
• talk to the artists
• learn about their artistic practice.  

This is an open rehearsal with drop in participation, accessible to everybody, with an opportunity to learn some sign language theatre & song. 

Notizen, produced by Signdance Group’s European company Zakovni Ples in association with Transmitter Performance, will be adapted and brought to the UK by SignDance Collective. This brand-new outdoor show mixes SDC’s trademark visual style with puppetry and explores powerful themes of the news, protest, love, and the intricate artistry of observation. Set against the background of the city, it invites audiences to engage deeply with the world around them, sparking conversations that resonate long after the final gesture fades.

This event will appeal to artists, students and anyone interested in inclusive performance practice, as well as in how we communicate in our contemporary, media-saturated world.
