Robert Thorogood at Wycombe Arts Centre
Join Robert Thorogood, creator of the Death In Paradise BBC TV series and author of The Marlow Murder Club, at an evening supporting Wycombe Arts Centre and Wycombe Food Hub.
The evening will be recorded for the award-winning We’d Like A Word books and authors podcast with presenters Paul Waters and Stevyn Colgan. You’ll have the chance to put your questions to the man behind the murders and mysteries of Saint Marie: Who’s been his favourite detective? How come the idyllic island is such a dangerous place? What’s coming up next in “Paradise”? Why has he turned his hand to crime fiction books?
Doors open at 7pm on Wednesday 17th November 2021. Event and recording start at 7:30pm sharp.
Entry £5, including first drink. All proceeds in aid of Wycombe Arts Centre and Wycombe Food Hub.
This event will be recorded for later broadcast.
Please bring a mask.
You can listen to the We’d Like A Word podcast wherever you usually get your podcasts: Spotify, Apple Music, Anchor, iTunes, etc. The presenters Paul Waters and Stevyn Colgan are also authors. Paul Waters’ recent historical crime fiction book, Blackwatertown, is in shops and online now. The third book in Stevyn Colgan’s very funny Herewardshire series is also out now. It’s called Cockerings, but you pronounce it Corrings.
