San Demas

is a 4 piece melodic metal band inspired by the likes of Paramore, Saosin, The Used and Plini. We had an amazing debut year in 2022, and have recorded our debut album with Justin Hill and have plans to tour the U.K in 2023.  Last year we played festivals such as LakeFest, PennFest, OllieFest, Wildfire, Frogfest and many more. We have played for BBC Introducing events in Reading and have featured on BBC Introducing with multiple songs. We have gained a loyal following in a short time and are anticipating another huge step forward this year.

San Demas’ sound in a nutshell:

  • Soaring riffs
  • Anthemic choruses
  • Emotive breakdowns

“Our sole purpose is to connect with people and try to write something sincerely heartfelt and vulnerable…we are more excited than ever about the music we have written.”

Alex Kew

Having been professional actor since childhood, music has always been right there alongside and in 2009 Alex joined High Wycombe indie band ‘The Wutars’ on guitar until their split in 2011. He was also the bass player for alt-rockers Release The Bats with whom he recorded their debut album. Since then he has been back into his solo work which has echo’s of his most prominent influences from early rock’n’roll & country to punk rock & classic pop.

Failstate

are an Emo-Punk band from South Wales, UK. Having worked with each other on previous projects found their shared passion for bands like Basement, Reuben & Funeral For A Friend. 2023 has seen the release of two singles which were both debuted on BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock Show as well as the band being in the top 10 finalists on Kerrang! Radio’ “The Deal” competition.

Your new favourite Emo anthem” – Alyx Holcombe (BBC Radio 1)

Death is a girl

Fusing rock, funk, blues and a pinch of jazz, Death Is A Girl are a big blend of musical spices that have cooked up nicely to make Groove Rock! Heavy enough to mosh to, but groovy enough to dance to, the choice is yours. Death Is A Girl is quickly racking up the miles playing live and  EP “TAILS”, sees Death Is a Girl combine the groove influences of Prince and Rick James, with a dash of Deftones and the rocking musical vibes of Jeff Buckley, QOTSA and sprinklings of Mars Volta definitely a contender worth seeing and listening to.
