Born out of the mud, the beer-stained floors, and the raw energy of the pub and jam scene (back when you could still smoke indoors), Splash the Cash delivers a full-bodied tribute to Johnny Cash. At the heart of the band is Jimmy Cash (aka our very own Jimmy), whose gritty, earth-moving vocals give new life to the classic “Man in Black” catalogue.

Splash the Cash don’t aim for perfection. They aim for presence. They take the darkness and the drama in Johnny Cash’s songs—the tales of heartbreak, guilt, redemption, crime and salvation—and they pull them into today’s world. There are moments of moody introspection, but also roaring, foot-stomping bursts of energy that demand you listen, dance, shout. Their one rule: have fun. Lots of it.

With setlists that range from Folsom Prison Blues to “Ring of Fire,” and performances in pubs and venues around Bucks — this is a band that honours Cash not by mimicking him, but by carrying forward his spirit: bold, uncompromising, alive.
